    COURSE OVERVIEW

    Day 1 - Meet & Greet

Before the course begins, participants will attend a 30-minute briefing. This session will include instructor introductions, an overview of fundamental riding techniques, a safety briefing, and a review of expectations for the closed-course training.

    Day 1 - 7.5 Hrs. Cone Patterns

This session will serve as the participants’ first introduction to the closed course and its riding patterns. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, riders will have the opportunity to practice various cone patterns, receive personalized feedback, and refine their skills. At the end of Day 1, an optional time trial will be available, allowing participants to apply what they’ve learned throughout the day and navigate the full course.

    Day 2 - 7 Hrs. Cone Patterns

On the second day of training, participants will continue to build on the skills developed during the previous session. Instructors will assess each rider’s progress, offering personalized feedback to help refine their technique and enhance overall performance.

    TIME TO “TEST YOUR METTLE”

To conclude the training, riders will have the opportunity to participate in a second optional time trial, allowing them to measure their improvement over the course. Instructor evaluations and course feedback forms will also be completed at this time.

Day 2 - 1 Hr. Group Ride Techniques

Each two-day course will conclude with a group ride, giving participants the opportunity to experience real-world group riding dynamics. Instructors will provide expert guidance on group riding safety, etiquette, and best practices.

Since many motorcyclists ride in groups, developing this skill is a crucial aspect of safe and responsible riding on the road.

I believe that riders of all capabilities can improve their skill level. It is incumbent that riders operate in a safe manner and contribute to reducing motorcycle related injuries and collisions on British Columbia's roadways. I look forward to meeting you, and we'll see you on the patterns.
